In a matter of 4 weeks, Mike, Luca & Renzo turned a decrepit and failed takeaway pizza store into Amalfi Pizzeria; a premium takeaway concept developed by Pizzantica. Two weeks of scrubbing, a fresh lick of paint, lots of Italian hand gesturing, many espresso's later (thanks Dolci Sapori) and bingo! Amalfi was born!
With Covid stamping its authority on 2020, the team was unsure as to the amount of dough slinging that was actually going to occur. As luck would have it, from the point Amalfi opened, it became apparent that Clayfield and the surrounds were longing for a premium, local takeaway pizzeria.
At the core of Amalfi are the traditional Italian pizza bases. There is no compromise for quality with the dough balls being prepared weekly and your order stretched to go! The menu consists of a full range of traditional pizzas (with vegan options), some delectable sides, a couple of pastas, cannoli and tiramisu. There's really something for everyone wanting grab and go Italian!
